Back to School Shopping with My Sister’s Closet Boutique

This post is sponsored by My Sister’s Closet Boutique.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Back to School! Every kid’s least favorite phrase. As a parent, I think most of us teeter on the edge of excitement and dread when we think of sending the kiddos back to school in the Fall. It’s a reminder that summer is over, the kids are another year older, and that homework and school projects are now what will fill our nights.

I think we can agree that for mom’s and kids alike, Back to School shopping is a plus when heading back for another school year. The kids are excited because they get to fill their closets with new shoes, clothes, a backpack, and school supplies. Mom’s are excited because they can finally throw away those dingy t-shirts, and that pair of joggers that have had a hole in the knee since January. Plus, who knows, mom might just find a few things for herself.

If you have a teen daughter, and are looking for cute, trendy, and affordable clothes for Back to School, be sure and check out My Sister’s Closet Boutique.  They have locations in Draper and Spanish Fork for those local to Utah, and if not, that’s okay, you can shop their on-line store here: https://www.mysisterscloset-boutique.com/.

I was amazed when looking over their website at how many cute jumpers, tops, dresses, and jeans they have available. The perfect looks for sending those Jr. High, High School, and College students back to class in style. Not to mention, mom! We need to look our best on that first day of school when dropping off and picking up the kids!

One of my favorite pieces that is available at My Sister’s Closet Boutique, is the City Stroll Denim Jumpsuit. It’s so cute and comfortable and looks great to wear now with a pair of sandals, or in the fall with a scarf, booties, and even a cardigan. This piece is going to get tons of wear over the next few months.

A few of my other favorite items are the:

Wishing Thinking Overalls in Charcoal

Patchwork Perfection Dress (I seriously love this one for the First Day of School)

Python Pattern Jeans

Good Times Graphic Tee

Wildest Dreams Jeans

Jerra Floral Dress

Manhattan Distressed Jeans

Looking your best for class and/or school pick up is easy and affordable when shopping at My Sister’s Closet Boutique. You’ll be the envy of all the other students and moms, and who knows, you may just earn the Yearbook title of “Best Dressed.”

Fall Fashion with Shopko

Fall fashion has to be my favorite!  I love the deep jewel tone colors that come with fall, the chunky sweaters, over the knee boots, scarves, cardigans, and layering. Fall, is a great time to dress in layers, at least here in the state of Utah.  The mornings are cool and crisp, with the afternoons warming up, and then dropping again come dusk.  I love grabbing a top that I know will get me through the afternoon, and then adding a denim jacket, cardigan, or scarf to keep me warm in the morning and evening hours.

This cute A&I Strappy Neck Top from Shopko, is the perfect top for layering.  It’s cute worn alone with a pair of jeans or tucked into a denim skirt and it has the fun “strappy” neckline…so no jewelry needed. This top also looks nice layered under a denim or leather jacket, blazer, or cardigan. For this look, I layered the top with this plaid A&I Triangle Scarf also found at Shopko and I love the way it turned out.

I’m clueless when it comes to what is on trend for men’s fashion this fall.  However, when I saw this A&I Long Sleeve Henley I knew that one, my husband would actually like it and wear it, two, I liked it and thought it would be a great staple for him this season, and three, it wasn’t a t-shirt or button down, so I bought it for him! It looks great paired here with a dark pair of denim and gray casual shoes.  I think this henley would also look nice worn under a flannel shirt or leather jacket.

If you’re looking to update your fall wardrobe, I highly suggest checking out Shopko.  They’ve got some great new brands in store and online, including their exclusive brand A&I.  To see some more of my favorite fall fashion items at Shopko, check out my board here.
